Committees
Committees are assigned separate and unique responsibilities to ensure that the organization can function properly both internally, and in its interactions with the community at large. Members of each committee will elect a chairperson and a co-chairperson to take charge of the committee. All members will serve for minimum of at least one year.

Newsletter Committee
The role and scope of Newsletter Committee shall be to identify issues and develop a quarterly newsletter to keep members of the association abreast of important events, health issues, and other opportunities that will benefit members of the association.
Education Committee
The role and scope of the Education Committee shall be to plan educational activities to support the mission of the association. The committee will identify and implement health promotion activities for members and the community by organizing health fairs, seminars/workshops to prevent illnesses and diseases. This committee will also interview nursing students who are applying for scholarship opportunities and seek grants to provide funding for the scholarship program.
Programs and Projects Committee
The role and scope of the Activity Committee shall be and to identify activities of interest and bring forth to the group for participation. The committee shall raise funds for planned programs/activities for the association. This committee will organize activities to sustain partnership in the community.
Recruitment and Retention Committee
The role and scope of the Recruitment and Retention Committee shall be to identify strategies to recruit nursing students, graduate nurses, and professional nurses to join the association. This committee will also ensure retention of members by creating fun and interesting activities to retain members in the association.
Budget Committee
The role and scope of the Budget Committee shall be to identify the financial strength of the association and to establish realistic spending plans for the various programs/activities for the association. This committee will collaborate with the treasurers and chairpersons of each committee to plan a budget for each project.
Hospitality Committee
The role and scope of the Hospitality Committee shall be to ensure that all who enters into contact with the association is made to feel welcome, treated with respect, courtesy, and consideration, and is valued as an essential part of the organization, be it as friends, partners, visitors, members or opponents
Communication, Press, and Publicity
The role and scope of the Communication, Press and Publicity Committee shall be to identify strategies to maintain visibility in the community, to enhance public relations on behalf of the group, to determine what HANA needs to communicate to the group as well as to the general public, examine appropriate ways of disbursing information to the group and to the public. This committee will utilize cross-marketing strategies to expand communication efforts on behalf of HANA.
